hey. i know im going to get slaughtered for this.... noob here. ive been trying to root my droid x2 2.3.3 and my droid razr for weeks now. nothing. i have tried everything out there. ive read pleanty of threads and watched pleanty of vids. i see alot of spam out there and alot of comments saying how and what to do, but nothing that actually works. im ready to pay someone to do this or walk me thru it. seriously, it keeping me awake at night. almost like a sick joke. please, someone step up and help me out here. for all our sake. i can make a donation to help further your development.

Welcome to DroidForums.net. There should be a version of SuperOneClick that has the motofail exploit. That worked for me, but I can't find the files anymore . I'll let you know if I do come across them again.

Update: This method might work.

1.) Download SuperOneClick v1.7 from the link above.
2.) Make sure USB Debugging is Enabled in your phone settings.
3.) Open program, click the rageagainstthecage method and hit Root.
