I found my old Droid X and the new Droid X2 both had similar problems with (text not sent) messages. Really annoying. I just downloaded Chomp SMS for free from the market, turned off my message notifications. And now I dont see or hear that annoying sound that NEVER went away with either phone.:icon_ banana:

Does anyone know how to select a different sent notification sound?

I like the app and i like being notified when it sends but that sent notifier sound is HORRID.

Hello friends,

You can simply use chompSMS as a souped-up replacement to the built-in Messaging application, just with a heap more features and customizations.
