Changing bootmation and .wav

Is there a way to change the bootmation and adding your own sounds?
I had the droid incredible and almost had it but i used my upgrade and i would like to do it on the Bi0nic.
I didnt even see the file for it

You must be rooted, go to /system/media you will see bootanimation.zip swap that with the one you want to use set permissions rw+r+r reboot

For changing audio file unzip bootanimation.zip you will see a file called desc.txt in it you will see a line similar to

s Droid.ogg
Change that to the sound you want to use and save then rezip the file and place the sound file you have chosen in system/media/

I am rooted and I am currently running hift3r v2.3 ics with 893
i also have installed the root explorer file system.
Can'r figure out how to change my permission settings.
can I use a card reader and change the files via computer?
Would i have to re-do the rom entirely if I do it this way?

I did get the permission changed on the original file, so I figured I would just try another notification .ogg but i inadvertently placed it below the zio and now i can change it back either way

How do I change the line of script?
I have sql editor but I cant retrieve the file.
I did actually figure out the permission status but I can change the file.

move the "bootanimation.zip" to your;

/System /media


use Root Explorer to do this. then simply reboot and enjoy.

Oh didnt know that. I always just cut and paste and have never had an issue with my D1, D3 or Transformer. Lol
