Cant re-install system apps!!!!

For the last 2 days straight, I've been trying to re-install a couple system apps that I had deleted before, due to my "n00b" mistakes . I found an X2 system dump, and have placed the. Apk /.odes files into the root of my sdcard storage, changed the permission settings, and still no luck. I've copied, moved and altered these apps in my sdcard, sdcard-ext, system/app and in every other location I can think of or have read up on. I've tried abd/sdk programs in my PC as well.....I'm stuck and i dont know what else to do. Should I just spf and go that route? I got all my system apps from a X2 system dump that came with the. Apk and. Odex files and it hasn't worked. I have TB and use that to freeze bloat as well. I've also unfroze all the bloat before trying to install these apps, but that hasn't worked either. Please help. Haha. Please and thank you.

How are you setting permissions??

I use Root Explorer, place the app in system/app and set permissions there then reboot. Works every time.
