Can't move diagonal in games

Does anyone find that to be a draw back? i'm trying to play chrono trigger but can't move diagonally anywhere so i keep running in straight lines, stopping, and having to adjust direction. not a huge deal but it makes a difference in what you can play comfortably, rom wise.

You can set keyboard bindings to Up+Left, Up+Right, etc. in all of the "*oid" emulators, I believe. I haven't found the need for using these bindings yet, though.
