I never use the default Weather Service widget, and it's removed from the homescreens, but it seems like the background service for it remains in my phone, even after I kill it using the built-in "Running Services" managers. It always pop back up.
I do have Beautiful Widget installed, but I would think that it uses its own service and doesn't rely on the built-in weather service, right? Or does Beautiful Widget does indeed invoke this service?
