Can you Block Class 0 Messages?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. As of a few weeks ago I have been getting text messages from several random numbers and "Class 0 Messages" spamming me trying to sell me "Herbal Incense". at first they were one or so a day, but they have become increasingly aggressive. I added each number to my spam list for the normal texts (and yet some are still making it to me).

short of changing my number (which i'd MUCH rather not do) I don't know how to get these spam texts and spam "Class 0 Message" to stop.

anyone got any advice or suggestions?

If you long press the message you can add "that" number to the SPAM list but if they ere different numbers I have no idea what to tell you.

Doesn't the S4 have a do not disturb feature? Set it up to only allow stuff from known contacts only.

There are some general settings like Drivemode but nothing I can find specifically for messaging.

I thought 4.4.4 brought "Blocking Mode".

Perhaps that's just an S5 thing?

On 5.01 it's now do not disturb - under sounds and notifications but that won't stop the messages, only the notifications during the restricted time.

They need to make a way to report these messages as "Spam" or "Unsolicited" and track these companies down and put the hurt on them!!
