bluetooth issue

My GF has a 2007 Toyota Solara. She can't get the bluetooth hooked up. She makes her droid discoverable but it does not pick up the car. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply but that addresses contacts. It requires standard pairing first which is the problem we are having.

sorry about that I misunderstood.

Instead of making the droid discoverable is there a way to put the toyota bt into pairing mode then have the droid scan for devices?

I've gotten to that. However, when the droid searches it does not pick up the car.

well I was not able see the files on my droid with my MAC until one day I decided to download Bluetooth File Transfer program and suddenly everything connected flawlessly. is like Bluetooth File Transfer program fixed the way how they connect.... why don't you try it maybe that can help with her car bt connection...
