Black screen of death won't reset

I was playing words with friends last night and the screen appeared to have been shut off (like sleep mode). I cannot get it to tuen back on. I have pulled thebattery multiple times.

Any ideas???

Was the battery charged? Can you plug it in and turn it on? If not, I would return it for a warranty replacement. Store for same day trade, over the phone for overnight shipping if its available this time of year.

Mine did that once too. It was a dead battery. Completely dead. It went from 60% battery to dead in a matter of minutes. I charged it for a few minutes, and it came back on. Hasn't happened since.

Just pulling the battery and putting back in than restart you phone might be all you need. Sometimes that will fix the issue.

Well, I took it to Verizon, they tried another battery, even though I charged mine all night, they did a hard factory reset, still dead......

The phone appears to be active, the menu, home, back and search keys light up but no go on the display.


Verizon is sending a warranty replacement. 16 days with the phone.... had it quit 2 days earlier, I would already have a new one......
