I have a bionic I've had for 7 months of a 2 year contract.I am disgusted with this pos phone and I want something different that functions as designed. If I deactivate my bionic now and buy something else on c-list or eBay will I have to pay the early termination fee?

Early termination fee is for ending contract. You can get a different phone that works on vzw and swap over

Sent from the most underrated phone......the HTC Rezound

What brighton said, you'll be fine. You could also try throwing it up on Swappa. GLWS

FWIW:

Verizon doesn't care what you do with the phone, BUT if you purchased the phone through stores like WireFly, Newegg, or LetsTalk (to name a few). They may have a ToS that for (usually 6 months) you have to have the phone you purchased from them, on the line you purchased it for. If you take the phone off you do have to pay somewhat of an ETF.

If you got it from Verizon, or a place that doesn't do the above you're good to go.
