I would like to knwo the best way to sync without sending everything to google. Thanks.
add the email account (as exchange) and once it syncs the email you can do contacts, calendar, etc
Ok.... How do I do that. I am good with this stuff, but I guess I am missing something.
Assuming you use a corporate exchange server, that would work. You might want to try this product: CompanionLink Software - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
Outlook != Exchange. Outlook is an email client that supports a number of different mail servers -- Exchange being one of them. Unless the OP specifically mentions Exchange (or it sounds like Exchange is involved from context), I wouldn't assume that the OP is on Exchange.
Since we had webmail via exchange, all I needed to do is go into sync and add, then put all my info in with the address.
Works like a charm. If you guys have webmail set up, just ask you IT guy for the log in info. My IT guy told me I could not access our stuff, but I proved him wrong.
I sync my outlook calendar and contacts with google with sync2. it works great. i use automatic synchronization but it's possible to sync manually.
p.s. it syncs data both ways
