Battery Life??

Okay so I just bought my moto droid from my friend. I use to have an LG ALLY and I wanted something more powerful. But when im using my battery indicator pro/and or look at the status of the battery it only reads in 100/90/80/70 etc.. and im confused. Is this normal for the droid it never displays like 88 % or anything like that??

Moto Droid only reads in 10% increments until you reach 20% & then it's every 5.
