back up assistant not synching

it's newbie again. i did a search and found nothing so i'm asking. every morning i have a message my back-up assistant couldn't sync or connect to the network? i hit the sync button, boom, no problem. i never had this problem with other verizon phones? any clue why it does this

First make sure background data is checked. Make sure you are in a good network area, if so then click airplane mode wait about 15 to 20 secs then switch airplane mode and give it a few moments to reset your 3g.
