Anyone use the passive antenna's for your Droid or prior phone with success?

I live in hilly terrain and coverage is spotty in several areas if not dropped all together. I see these passive antenna's that work through the class of your auto that is suppose to help with dropped calls and weak signals.

I know it would probably be modest at best but wondered if anyone has used them and noticed any improvement?

I can't speak for those antennas, but if you have reliable broadband connection, you could look into the Verizon Network extender. It's basically a mini cell tower you plug into your router, and gives you coverage around your house.
