This is vey likely already posted in this forum somewhere, but it wasn't readily apparent so thought i'd post t again.

When trying to transfer pictures from my Droid Turbo phone to my MacBook, as soon as I connect the USB cable to the computer, I get a pop up box that says Can't Access Device Storage and tells me to unlock my screen.

The screen isn't locked. I've done a Google search on this issue, but none of the solutions seem to work.

Thanks for any assistance you may give, And please make your instructions simple? :)

Thanks
cheryl

When your phone is connected, swipe down the notification area. Do you see a notification that says something like "USB For Charging. Tap for more options"? Tap that and select file transfer mode (MTP). That's how newer version of Android function when connected to a Win PC, so hopefully it's similar with a Mac.
