Wow, we have a lot of whiners here. If you don't like the service, shop elsewhere. That's the only way to send a message to Verizon; creating posts full of grammatical errors on a message board doesn't help the cause.

Another thing to point out--signing a contract doesn't guarantee that you would be locked into unlimited data for two years. They don't have to grandfather you and they're allowed to change prices on you at any time. Remember, data packages are features and therefore not a part of the contract. You can drop data packages at any time and they can change the price at any time.

Everybody needs to calm down. Nobody here knows what the prices are even going to be, yet everybody is: freaking out, arguing, threatening to leave, and otherwise making other assumptions. For all we know the prices could be lower. Even if they are higher, I don't know why anybody ever assumed that the prices would be the same price as 3G. Verizon never made any announcements about 4G pricing, a bunch of people just blogged or posted about it and everybody assumed it was true until it somehow became fact.

Did anyone ever take the time to think that maybe it's possible for Verizon to tell whether you're in a 3G or 4G area and charge accordingly? Or maybe they'll just charge their 4G price on everyone, who the hell knows? We don't know the price yet so everyone needs to calm down and stop freaking out about stuff we don't know about have have no control over.
