As TV's get bigger and better and cheaper many people are wondering what is the future of moving image technology. There have been some pretty amazing holographic displays at major events. Tupac performed in hologram form a few years ago at Cochela along side Snoop Dog and Dr Dre. The technology for in home use seems to be decades away. You can actually get a simulated hologram now! The video above shows how you can construct an upside down pyramid out of plastic. There are a few hologram videos on youtube that your phone will actually project onto the pyramid. Links to both the pyramid's template and the hologram youtube videos can be found in the video above's description.

The Moto G has only been available for purchase for a few days. A few of you actually already have the device in hand. Developer Squid2 has released an experimental build of Team Win Recovery Project. This is just a port of TWRP from another device. Squid2 does not even have the device in hand, so this recovery has not been fully tested. It should be used with caution. For this to work your bootloader will need to be unlocked. Once your bootloader is unlocked you will just flash the recovery with a fastboot command. Grab the download from the link below.

This sdcard situation for the Note 5 has been more fickle than a politician during presidential preliminaries. Of course Samsung has not officially made any statements on the situation. It was assumed that the Note 5 would take after its older the brother the Galaxy S6 and ditch the micro Sdcard reader, but then we had a leak "confirming" the existence of an sdcard slot on the device.

Yesterday afternoon Evan Blass of @Evleaks leaked some render images of both the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. He also posted specifications of the Note 5 to go with the images. The specs include an Exynos 7420 SoC processor, 5.66" QHD display, 4GB of ram, 32GB of storage, 16mp rear shooter, 5mp front shooter, 5.1.1 Android, and NO SD.

For many of you this will be a bummer. I would also take this report with a grain of salt. While Evan Blass is a reputable leaker anyone could "leak" this tidbit of info with a 50-50 chance of getting it right. We shall know the truth in a few days.

The other day 5 wallpapers from the OnePlus 2 leaked out and we posted them here. Yesterday one of the lead developers of OxygenOS decided to release all 25 wallpapers from the device to "keep the hype up". The device won't release until August 11. Short of showing up at one of the few pop up events that OnePlus will be hosting around the world this will be the only way to get a glimpse at the device's UI. The wallpapers will look great on any device. Grab the walls from the link below.

One of the main features of the Note 4 is the large screen and the ability to easily multitask with the built in recents menu. The only problem is that the Note 4 recents menu and switching between open apps has always been a bit sluggish. Things have only gotten worse with Lollipop. This is due to the same RAM bug that is found on the Galaxy S6. The 5.1.1 update has reportedly fixed the RAM bug on the Galaxy S6, but that same update may not be available for the Note 4 for a while.

The great news is that the fix implemented in the S6 update is a simple build.prop edit. The same edit can be made on your Note 4 with similar results. All that you need is a rooted device and a build.prop editor. You will then open up the build.prop editor and change a line of code. For full instructions head to the link below.

For those of you who have an ear for music Stagelight is the app that allows you to easily build your own original tracks using stock loops, and included instruments like drums, keys, guitars, and more. Grageband has been around and working well on iOS for quite sometime. Android has lagged behind on Music tools, but has finally improved thanks to improved latency in newer versions of Android. The app does include a tutorial which will show you exactly how to use the app. You can use all basic functions in the app for free. To unlock everything there is an in app purchase of $9.99.

http://cdn.droidviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/AOSP-Concept-ROM-on-Xperia-Z3.jpg

Sony is currently testing an AOSP concept rom for on a handful of Sony Xperia Z3 devices. There are about 500 devices on the program in Sweden. Sony's Android Concept Rom is based on Android 5.1.1 Android Lollipop. This AOSP like rom also comes with the Xperia camera, Album, and Music apps. Any other Xperia features are left out of this rom.

While the rom is still in beta testing it is stable enough to use as a daily driver. To install the rom you will to first backup everything on your device in case something goes wrong with the install. You will then need to grab the latest sony flashtool, then grab the Sony Android concept rom, paste the file you downloaded to the folder named "firmware", Open the flashtool and click on the downloaded firmware, Turn off phone and plug it in when the tool directs you to do so, lastly reboot your phone once the installation is finished. Head to the link below for the full guide.

Many of you are trying to decide between the OnePlus 2 and the Moto X Pure. These are the most hyped devices right now and for good reason. The OnePlus 2 is a pretty solid device with many good features it leaves a bit to be desired with its lack of fast charging and lack of NFC. The Moto X Pure on the other hand seems to be more of a full package, but is expected to be a bit more expensive. The Mote X Pure is unlocked and works on all US carriers, while the OP2 is carrier unlocked but only works on GSM networks.

If you are leaning towards the Moto X Pure you might be happy to know that we have confirmation that the device will ship with an unlockable bootloader. It has also been confirmed that the device will not have any carrier branding which means NO BLOATWARE! It's still not clear if any carriers will offer this phone at a subsidized price with a contract since there will be no branding. I guess we shall see.

The OnePlus 2 has to be the hottest phone on the net right now! It is drawing huge crowds in cities where OnePlus is holding popup events. More than one million people have registered for a OnePlus 2 invite. In fact the last time i looked it said that "Many" were ahead of me, almost as if the website has lost count. When you see a number like 1million ahead of you in a que, that can be pretty daunting. You may have already given up hope of ever actually being able to purchase this device.

You can actually purchase this phone without an invite right now. The only catch here is that you will be paying a fee for the privilege. Gearbest has both the 16GB and 64GB variants available for preorder now. These devices will be shipped on September 7th. The cost will be $397 for the 16GB version, and $477 for the 64GB version. Would you be willing to pay a premium to skip the line?
