Cannot get GMail to sync the Drafts Folder correctly...

Until a few days ago, items added/removed from Drafts folder on pc were shown on my Pixel 7. The items are shown correctly on other pc's in my home using the same acct. I have done all the usual fixes such as using the latest version of the app from the Play Store, restarting, refreshing the Draft screen, making sure the 'Sync gmail' box was checked in settings, etc. The web version(gmail.com) seems to work correctly but I would like to use the latest app version. I noticed that someone posted this same issue way back in 2010 but no answer as to what resolved it.
