You probably shouldn't have bought a Droid if: you came into a humorous thread to argue for/against NPR.

Get a life folks.

Everybody has moved on from NPR.....no need to stir it up.

Let it rest...

this is a good thread no need to drag it downhill anymore.

you still use a star-tac or a bag-phone

Now there is a memory... I actually still have my Micro StarTac Lite hidden away in a closet. Almost pitched it about a year ago, then decided to show it to my kids who got a good laugh out of it. It still will power up, make those whacko noises it made.

Decided I'm going to keep it around as a memory, who knows some day it might be collectible. It was my first cell phone... at a time when they were called "Car phones", and they were almost always mounted permanently in the car. It was a wicked cool device at the time, smallest anyone had seen, and you could <gasp> take it with you! You could get about 45 mins of talk time on it if you were careful, and you measured stand by time in hours not days.

Might have to get it out some day and snap a picture of it next to the Droid.

I have a friend who still uses one,

by choice.

If you still have a rotary dial phone that weighs 10 lbs, and is lag-bolted to your kitchen wall.........

I actually know someone who still has one....he refuses to leave the 1970's.
