That's amusing djstar2k2 --- but, the included gmail appp will only allow you to "preview" an attached mp3, not save it. There is a way... (although rather obtuse) and that is to open a browser window and go to gmail, sign in and view the email with the attachment. That will download the attachment... But, that's a multi-step "workaround," not available in an actual "incoming" email to my Droid. Maybe we will see this feature added to our gmail app in the next update.
If you charged your phone for three hours last night and have since surfed the web for six hours while listening to all your music and squeezed in 20 phone calls and 60 texts and downloaded 12 new apps and changed your background eight times (basically, you haven't shut the phone off for 12 hours) and then complain about the crappy battery life.
