How does a browser like skyfire accomplish some flash support?

Skyfire, like opera, proxies everything so they can compress it. I think they probably proxy the flash video (FLV) and encode it into something the droid can handle in the process (3gp).

I would think the same.
This can be implemented easily.
1. Load a webpage.
2. Analyze the page and find flash links (this is easy)
3. Send the flash links to a server that can analyze what the actual mp4 or 3pg files.
4. Directly play those files.

If its that easy make it happen. I installed for now. if I am going to pay for a browser it should be better than the free competition

The problem is that it would require some web servers ($$$) to set up this kind of proxy/encoder.
