WOW, the bugless beast 2.1 rom is amazing.

I know this has been asked before, but I've seen multiple, varying answers. I've been on the fence about rooting for a while now. I don't want to have to set up all of my desktop icons, bookmarks, settings, preferences, etc. all over again, then possibly again when 2.1 is released, and a 3rd time when 2.1 root is gained. If I root now, and install BB or whatever other ROM, what, if anything, will I have to replace, set up again, etc.?

You will have to wipe.. You can use My Back up Pro to get most data and settings back.

I have re setup my Droid soooooo many times...
