With deep regret....

I'm afraid I have to return my X. I thought that the big screen and HDMI out and all the other bells and whistles would keep me happy for 12-24 months, but unfortunately not.

The main reason is seeing the Droid Pro and LTE announcements over the last few days.

Secondly, the size of the X is just a little too big.

Looks like I'm holding onto my Droid for now, which isn't exactly what I want to do either, since the battery is dying in 10 hours with light use.

Oh well, having the X was fun while it lasted.

IMO waiting is the best idea...and not for the Pro, for the SuperDroid
uhh...this is why I'm saving my upgrade. My daughter is just going to have to wait for my Droid. I'll just make it look pretty for her to make up for it ;)

Spanky - I'm also holding out for the new releases with LTE rollout before I upgrade. As for battery draining, I'm sure you know we all preach to delete any task killers, virus scanners...but make sure you use JuiceDefender....it's awesome and works well.

Is your phone stock or rooted? There are some settings you can change to extend your battery life, like looking for wifi less often as an example. Other than that leave GPS off when you don't need it, use the Power Control widget to keep your screen dim unless you really need it brighter.

SuperDroid? Well the name alone makes me drool. Glad I'm returning the X. Believe me, I have nothing against the X, it's just not for me......

I actually just rooted the droid, but haven't done much with it. I never leave the GPS or WiFi on, and the screen brightness is always at about 35%. Plus, I never use a task killer.

I'm wondering if a new battery would solve my problems. (the phone is 11 months old today!)
