Does Wireless Tether for Root Users work with Squidly's rom?

I'm trying to get a wifi broadcast from my D2 to show up on my Xoom... and apparently I come to find out Android doesn't see ad-hoc wifi connections like other wireless devices. This app tells me that I don't have a 'netfilter-enabled kernel' but showed the DX/D2 as working after a recent update.

Any ideas?

Yes it does, but it's the ad-hoc thing that's being a pain. One of these days I plan on doing some research on it so I can use my phone to tether my Nook :)

Answered my own question today...

Wireless Tether app in Market shows I do not have a netfilter-enabled kernel on start up.
BUT
that does not stop it from working dancedroid

It broadcast as infrastructure - secured as WPA - and my Xoom picked it up instantly. I love that it also shows how much data is going back and forth while it's running - definitely nice to make sure I'm not "blowin' it out da water" and shooting off warning flares. I prefer Wi-Fi, but everyone's locking their broadcasts up where I frequent.
