Like SamuriHL has said before we can't make your mind up for you, that decision is yours to make. I made the plunge into ICS and love it, HoB has been updated to give very detailed Semi-Fool Proof instructions that guide you through the process, this guy is a genius, Sarge and Samuri are my two hero's in the Bionic community.

well, I just sick and tired of waiting and am abou tready to take matters into my own hands. Ive been dealing with the data connection issue since I got this phone. Im out of town right now and downloading the Hob on hotel wifi, so its going to take a while. I think I have everything with me I need (phone, factory cable, and my laptop). Im just worried that Ill screw up my phone or Samuri will yell at me when I need help

The new 7.7 HoB pretty much walks you through it, almost as if SamuriHL is holding your hand through the whole process.

Murphy's Laws apply even to electronics, there will always be the one who can't seem to get things right even if it is laid out before him with what is to believed to be an easy task that was designed to be fool-proof.
At my work, the one who is in charge of training new hires is the one who can't get stuff right, and he has yet to know what F7 means in MSOffice, he misspells almost every word he types.

if you've read everything and then run into a problem, you won't have a problem with my level of support. Even when I'm yelling at people for not reading and wasting my time, I still help them. We've yet to lose a phone. For what you need to do, it's pretty damn simple. Install 7.7, FXZ, RSD 5.7, 247 update installer....in that order. Make sure the latest Moto driver is installed and that the phone can be seen by windows in both Charge Only and AP Fastboot modes (for the second you reboot it manually into AP Fastboot by shutting it off, hold volume down and hit power....do so while it's connected to USB). Once the driver situation is dealt with, reboot the phone. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled, you are *NOT* on a USB 3 port, and the phone is in Charge Only mode. Run the HoB, select 247, then INSTALL, then follow and DO all of the prompts. Done.
