Wireless Moot

I figured out what moot means after considering the randomness of this thread as a whole. "Most Often, Off Topic" - M.O.O.T. *LMAO* :p

We know how to potentially fix it so PM me when you're ready with your battery and we'll give it a shot. It's going to take some work and will involve manual steps. But it's possible we can get it going again for you.

Hot d**n! I'm back in the house b*****s! Take me off the maintenance list please Sam.

Swapped my dead battery with a friend's charged one (that's a real friend).
Followed Sam's instructions to repair AP fastboot and install 247 again.
unplugged USB cable before rebooting into recovery and installing from the 247 zip
This time the entire update process (including the LTE install) went perfectly.
Only difference this time was different battery and unplugged USB cable - WTF?

Not sure if I screwed something up the first time or if I have marginal hardware.

The only hard part was getting VZW to switch my account (including unlimited data plan) from my D1 back to my Bionic. The freaking web site tried to force a data plan change, so I went to a local VZW store. Would you believe they had to issue me a new SIM card? Does VZW even get the point of having a SIM card? Enough ranting.

Sam and HoB came through again. The personal attention was above and beyond and is greatly appreciated. Thanks Sam
Screw the OTA. My Bionic is in the House to stay. :hail:

Awesome. So I'm wondering if your battery was right on the edge when you started flashing the first time....only possible explanation I can think of. Anyway, glad you got it fixed!

Loving 247. Still getting things setup and too my liking. I'm sick, blowing my nose every 2 seconds. But I choose today to upgrade because, besides cleaning up the house, my girl didn't expect much else from me.

Has anyone actually sat down and tried to eat a horse because they were hungry?
Guess I wasn't that hungry after all.

Sarge, is it safe to assume that if the currently un-revealed moot is coming from VZW, that confirmation will be coming "Soon!"?

Yes

A whole horse, like a full grown horse, or a pony? And what breed of horse are we talking a Clydesdale? or just a measly miniature?? How do you prepare it?

Hey Sam, don't mean to keep beating a dead horse, but I've been thinking about my issue with exchange not working on the 232 build, and had a couple things I wanted to run by you. If I remember correctly, when we were discussing it you posted something about exchange not being completely up to speed on 232. I tried flashing CM9 and 10 over 232, and neither one fixed the issue. I'm still learning as I go when it comes to exactly how custom ROMS build off of the foundation ROM, but would it be safe to assume that if something is broken in the underlying build, it would also be broken on the custom build? I ask because if you remember, I posted at the time that my security policy wouldn't allow devices on ICS. Since then, I successfully synced my exchange account on my tab, which dual boots CM9 and webos. It would only sync the email on the CM9 side, but it connected nonetheless. If you know, at which ICS build was exchange sync fixed?

All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi...
