im a little curious about Moto pushing ATRIX hd so hard after announcing it wouldn't be on ICS. lol they are tweeting daily about it. i know it's the bionic forum but it's my droid home and an odd observation I wanted to share. lol

Since we're talking about our earliest computer experiences - my middle school was on the cutting edge of technology, and in the mid-70's we had access to a computer lab with about a dozen huge terminals - all BASIC, tied into a single enormous computer in the basement. I remember that behemoth had reel-to-reel tape drives - I even got to swap them out once. They also had a portable terminal, and I got to take it home a couple of times. It had a small 9" black and white monitor and a suitcase keyboard with a modem. I remember lugging that thing home, getting everything hooked up and plugged in, pushing the phone handset down into the two foam receptors above the keyboard, and quickly dialing on the rotary phone. Had to be in a quiet room, because background noise could mess up your data connection. I still remember those tones. If you were lucky, the line wouldn't be busy, and you could have uninterrupted access to the computer for hours on end. After debating over whether or not to buy a Commodore, I waited a couple of years and ultimately bought something much more practical - a TI-71B. It was TI's mac-daddy programmable calculator, and it allowed me to program a lot of useful equations and formulas in BASIC - and it wasn't RPN. I smoked everyone around me with their wimpy little TI-41's. Good times...

I like RPN and still use it on my bionic Real Calc +

Ok what u need to do is get setcpu (i am sure i can find it for free by googling it) an go to info an run the longbench it will give u a ms value

This is a good OCed ms vale between 0 and 200 (thought i had screen shots)
A bad one is anything above 300ms but more than likely if u clock to high it will always be between 500 and 700ms that means ur phone is lagging an will reboot

I already have set cpu and I'm familiar with oc, i practiced on my Eris, my Droid, my Droid x and now this. What i don't get is 1.333 gives me a 160 ms even after the phone sits for a while. But the instant i get or make a call it panics and reboots. I even ran antutu and got a 6783 clocked at 1.333

1398 but it does it on every voltage between it and 1410. I've even dropped the 1ghz slot to 1375mV (62Vsel)
I've even upped the 1ghz to 1.2 to make the transition easier

My first computer was an Apple IIC, with a whopping 128K of RAM. First and last Apple computer I've ever owned. My PC during the DOOM days was a crappy 486-25. Had to run DOOM in a little postage-stamp size window to get a decent framerate. Since then I have built my own and overclocked.

If i had a nickel for every hour playing zork or hitchhikers guide on a 2c or 2e i'd be rich

Remember MODEMs. I was really kicking when I upgraded to 1200 baud. No internet (Al Gore hadn't invented yet). My kids complained when the cable modem was only doing 1 Mb.

My first was a 300 baud accoustically coupled.
