Wifi SMS app?

I'm sure this has been asked a million and one times but what is the best wifi SMS app? I live in the mountains so I only get service in one spot of my house so I need an SMS app that uses wifi.
I want to be able to use my number too if that's at all possible..?

As far as I know the only one that is available is Google Voice. Another option is to get a 3G network extender from Verizon if you have a broadband internet connection (they're expensive but worth it in my opinion in your situation).

Never used this app before but I think it does what you want: Pinger makes texting and talking free.

I use TextPlus Gold, got it free from Amazon on one of the free app of the days. Works well, uses data, not SMS. Only thing is it gives you a new number, sorta like Google Voice, but it works well.
