Wifi Extender with android question

So, I use the android for my home internet. But I need a new extender for it to reach the rest of the house. The extender I have been using I have to reset and reinitialize each time I go to use the laptop through it.

What are some good extenders I can use to get my android's mobile hotspot wifi to the laptop in another room?

I use a Netgear universal extender. It works fine for what I need. It's an older model (WN3000RP) but it's still supported. It has a built in plug and hangs on the outlet in my hallway.

I did have a problem like yours a few months back but when I updated the firmware the problem went away. Make sure to keep your firmware updated.
