WiFi drops when using twitter on home network

I switched from DSL to cable internet a couple days ago. Ever since the switch my wifi freezes (shows full signal, and says it's connected but wont load anything) whenever I try to use twitter. I have to turn wifi off, and then back on each time. I have been using the tweetcaster app, and tried uninstall and reinstall with no success. I get the same issue when I try going to twitter from the browser also. No problems on any other wifi network, just my home network. No issues with any other devices on my home network, and none of my friends phones. It's really annoying to loose wifi every time I get a tweet. Any ideas?
