Seems to be a slight bug with the new update. When choosing the Wallpaper for this app (if you do not use the one you are using on your Launcher) you cannot crop it. Every picture gets stretched, condensed, etc and it just doesn't look good. Hopefully you can get that fixed soon!

Other than that, great app! And this is coming from someone who has been using it since the beginning.

Hi there, loving the new update, the rotary lock is the best!,.

After the latest update I seem to be having a few little quirks on my Droid x 2.2.


re-draw issues (stock lock screen,.. then widgetlocker pops up) Is there anyway to disable the stock slider to stop this from happening?

Tesla LED is not a long press, not a big deal at all,.


also, is there anyway to add the Tesla led button to the rotary lock itself? right in the middle where it looks like there is a spot for it..

One thing I am noticing lately is that shortcuts placed in the center of custom sliders sometimes have to be touched twice to work, as opposed to shortcuts just placed on WL as they would be on a home screen. Is this by design? Or am I missing something and not tapping them right?
Another funny thing , I placed a shortcut to Car Dock v2 in the middle of one slider, and it came out much bigger than the others, and works better. Any ay I can resize the other middle shortcuts?

Did you happen to just switch from the Droid to a blured device? For the longest time I had black listed the Motorola gallery because they don't properly support the standard method of cropping a large photo. The Motorola Gallery will let you crop it, and then it will set it to your system's wallpaper... I've finally allowed it, but without cropping (Cropping still works on non-broken galleries). You'll have to crop the image manually, there should be a toast notification that tells you your phone's resolution, but I'm pretty sure it's 400x854 on the Droid X or 2.

You can use easy wake mode which disables the stock slider.
WidgetLocker 1.2.5 did use a hack to try to keep the system keyguard hidden right away and then reenable it later to make things look a bit more smooth. But it was causing problems in some places so I've moved away from it.

? Are you asking for a long-press to enable/disable teslaled to avoid pocket-flashlights? Using it on a slider is probably the best bet.

I do want to play with making custom rotary sliders. Have to work out the physics of it though.

That's not by design. I'll keep an eye on it, it might believe the slider is being dragged so it's ignoring the input, even if you had already released the slider.
Right now Widgetlocker is just using the app icons in whatever size they are. I plan on support custom icons and will also do resizing then.

Just posted 1.2.6.1, fixed a handful of bugs.

Yeah, thanks, Kevin. Custom Rotary sliders would rock since I love it but it does take up more space so I have to take some things off. Maybe option for clock/date on rotary slider?

WL searches for a proper gallery, Google's, htc's and cooliris. If found it uses that with user crop controls. Otherwise it gives the choice and does a resize if needed. Your images were perhaps already the right ratio.

Doesn't the easy wake mode just enable any physical to wake the device? Why would that make it faster? Or am I not talking about the right setting your referring too.

Easy wake mode disable the system's keyguard, which means the phone will wake when any button is pressed. It also makes it very unlikely that you will ever see the system keyguard as it's disabled. The main exception is when security is enabled.

Me too, I get them specifically when un-docking. I have the new root option enabled and home helper disabled. I already sent an email about it from the phone...

Also, occasionally the stock lockscreen still gets in my way at times now, although I haven't figured out the pattern/conditions that cause this yet.

I love widgetlocker, I got one question tho.

I have been trying to remove the standard two way slider unlock/volume. But no matter where I longpress I can't remove it. I can add a single unlock slider (what I want) and move it around and remove it, but not the standard one. Is there a way to remove it?
