Wi-Fi duplicate SSIDs fail

I have a Motorola Droid that is running Android 2.2. I visit many offices that have duplicate SSIDs with their Wi-Fi - for example "Office". I have connected to "Office" at one place, but when I go to another location, my Droid thinks it is the same "Office". Because the SSID is the same, it tries to connect to it with the same PSK, obviously failing. This is a problem. When my laptop tries to connect to the different Office locations, it is smart enough to realize each location is different (based on MAC IDs perhaps), asks me for a new PSK, and then connects. It automatically keeps track of the different locations all named "Office" and connects as I come into range. I fully expect the Droid to do the same, but it does not. Is this a common problem? Is there a fix? Am I the only one with this issue? If there are other threads covering this issue, please link me up. Thanks for the help!
