Who plans on picking up the Moto Z Force?

I was thinking the same thing today. I would imagine cases for the phone naked, and cases for the phone with a back plate only...which is all I want at first, just a back plate to cover the back and that horrible camera bump. I would imagine that cases to go over the mods are not going to happen. How would you cover each Mod with a case? You couldn't really cover the projector Mod with a case. Maybe the battery pack Mod? But, will it be cost effective for a company to make cases for the phone with a Mod? Good question.

I agree and really don't expect cases for all Mods, but I do expect there will be a case to protect the projector and also the JBL speakers, as well as certain high end Mods such as the camera Mod. Likely the ones who make the high end Mods will offer cases as a premium upsell. It would be a smart value-add.
I'm really looking forward to stationary Mods/accessories such as car mounts that charge, tabletop portable stereo boombox type appliances, nightstand clock docks, wireless powered tower speaker sets and docking stations for high end AV receivers for example. In other words what Android has lacked all along and yet Apple iPhones have enjoyed.
Such devices will be a breeze for manufacturers to make since it's just Pogo Pin contacts and magnets. They will even be able to do away with any concern for form-fitting shrouds that cradle the phones since the magnets should have plenty of holding power. Positioning of the phone will be automatic and virtually foolproof.

I looked at the Verizon website today...debating on pulling the trigger now and giving my Turbo 2 to my daughter. The Verizon website only lists 2 color options..black or white. I thought there was a third color announced on the 21st? A gold type color...that's the one I want. And, once it was in my cart the estimated delivery date was "31 August". I guess these really are pre-order only right now and we may not be able to see them in a Verizon store until August? I am 99% sure that this will be my next phone, but I really want to see & use one in a store before committing $720 to it.
I figured out why you didn't see the gold option, it's because for some reason Verizon only offers you black or white when you go to their site. If you go to the Motorola site, it says you can use Moto Maker for it, and gold is one of the options you can pick.
Currently talking to a Moto rep. I've got the original Droid Turbo and still love the phone. If the new Z Force is solid, I will make the upgrade. Too bad the Z doesn't have the battery life. ONly complaint with my Droid Turbo is the speaker volume as everyone has mentioned many times. Other than that, the phone works well.
Mine is on pre-order thru Best Buy but have started receiving mods and cases that I have ordered...I am hoping to find a case that'll cover the battery mod but if not, it feels pretty solid.
Here is the battery mod, the VZW shell / kickstand case arrives today and also plan to pick up the Incipio Performance Level 4 case.
The battery mod is the one with wireless charging and will charge on a wireless charger without being attached to the phone (or it appears too), although I can't completely confirm until I receive the Droid Force.

Is this BestBuy deal only for new subscribers or existing customers as well? Am I missing something or is it alot cheaper to go with BestBuy vs VZW ?
