Where are the downloaded apps icons?

Hi,

New to Android, on a Droid 2.

After i downloaded apps from market, why I don't see icons in the app tray along with the preinstalled apps?

the only way for me to get the icons of downloaded apps to show up is to create shortcuts on the main page.

I thought that downloaded apps would be automatically placed with the preinstalled apps in the app tray and then i have the option of moving these downloaded apps' icons into the main page...

Thanks

This bit me too, but it should be an easy fix. Turn your phone off and back on, the apps should all appear when you click the "up arrow" on the bottom of the home screen.

I use AppBrain (see AppBrain.com) to download and manage my apps. Love it, makes it much easier.
