i was planning on buying the DX tomorrow. But i didnt want to buy it if there gonna lower the price or start a buy 1 get 1 free the next week. Any suggestions? thanks
Wait and see what happens? There's really no good answer to your question -- things change.
Just keep in mind, you have 30 days to return your phone, so if they go BoGo then you should be able to pick up on that deal. Keep in mind BoGo are usually new-line or upgrade deals only. You wont be able to get one as a backup, or as something to sell on EBay.

Are you buying at Verizon, online reseller, Walmart, Best Buy or somewhere else? There is a difference in pricing in those places. ALSO - Are you new with Verizon or are you upgrading?

Holy crap! I just went to dell.com and am apparently able to upgrade my phone to Droid X for $49...Verizon direct is $199! So what am I missing here....why would I go to Version direct for an additional $150!?

Be careful buying from places other than Verizon. Make sure you read everything because you are not only signing a new contract with Verizon you are also signing a contract with the company your buying from.
You are creating an additional contract with the retailer saying you will keep the phone activated until you've satisfied your verizon contract. If you dont, you must pay the balance on the deal
