Ah gotcha ...I just saw one of the other guys here say he was credited back phone and upgrade kept along with taking home Note ...not sure if you've checked account online maybe you get same hopefully....v20 we know some will have it on the 28th but nothing on Verizon yet ...keep on them if anything get on customer service number and escalate ...

Hold that phone Preach2k! So far three Verizon people said that Verizon is giving refund and upgrade back with no need to return the phone. One just stated that he checked his bill and it says zero balance on his N7 and eligible for upgrade.

Check your My Verizon account from the phone app.

Sounds like the store is feeding you a load just to try and make you seem like you have no options. Thankfully the people here have been able to prove that wrong.

That's what mine shows. I'm trying to figure out a way to verify they don't expect the device back and Samsung won't kill it.

Samsung Note 7.5

Guys that is the new policy Verizon and Samsung are doing... NO NOTE 7'S ARE TO BE LEFT AT THE RETAIL STORES....
They process the refund and or exchange and send you home with the defective Note. You are supposed to leave it off and boxed up until you recieve the special return kit to send the phone back.

These phones are not for anyone to keep.... This is just their policy!

Why would they have anyone keep a potentially dangerous device. Why not just take the device, pack it up and send it wherever it needs to go? Why keep the customer at risk?

Personally, I think sending people home with them makes no sense. We know they are going to use them and have a potential hazard.
My guess, is VZW doesn't want Note 7's as a fire hazard in their stores...

I agree... I told the rep it was stupid for me to leave with it. He agreed and said they had to follow policy[emoji44][emoji52]

But all my upgrades are back and they said all my credit will be on my next bill and they will refund me the taxes

I am looking at the Pixel XL 128GB and LG-V20. Although No MicroSD with the Pixel unlimited storage in Google photos. LG-V20 will take my 256GB MicroSd card. Whatever phone comes out first I will probably get it.
