I don't put much stock in quadrant scores. Not really applicable in real life situations. It's kinda just for show IMO

From my Liberated DROID2 at 1.25ghz

That's about what I got at stock speeds. You could undervolt to save battery, or overclock. Running at 1.35 gig my scores are just a hair above 2k

I score 2700+ at 1.35 gHZ, which shows how inaccurate it is.
Quadrant scores are all for bragging rights. They mean next to nothing.

I agree with everyone above... mainly just bragging rights. I mean if you're looking at nominal differences, ie: one phone scores just over 1300 and another one scores 2400.... obviously that means SOMETHING but what it does mean???/? Memory management and graphics processing are really the only 2 key things you need to worry about when it comes to performance. BTW my Droid X2 scored 2500 stock out the box.

My X scored 1300

I guess the X2 has dual core, so that would make sense. Yours is about 2x higher out of the box.

I have to ask, how did you get the gingerbread update? I have a Droid X2 and when I do a check for updates, it says my phone is up to date. I still run 2.2.:motdroidvert:

DX is getting the update. Not sure if its available on dx2 as of yet. I'm sure it's not far off though. I think they are taking care of the older models first

My D1 runs at 1300 overclocked to 1.0 GHz, but I have it at 800 MHz to avoid heat issues.

I have heard that quadrant scores are disproportionately affected by write speeds and thus not very relevant.

Just had to check mine when I saw this post, tested 10 times, highest at 1980 and lowest around 1800. Uv'd and oc'd at 1.25. Its pointless, but fun still. Its a lot higher than I used to get, anyways...

Yeah, I get between 1800 and 2000 with a stock thunderbolt. It doesn't seem all that much faster than my old fascinate which couldn't even break 1000

It doesn't really mean much in terms of performance. your phones performance depends greatly om your kernel and how the software manages memory and hardware. On a lighter note my x2 does 2600
