What do they do with

a phone such as a Droid 2 when it is returned to Verizon within the 30 day trial period? Refurbished and put back on the shelf to be sold again as new?

I think the process is if you return a phone within thirty days you still have to pay a thirty- five bucks restocking fee and the phone is refurbished and used as a certified like new replacement (CLNR) for customers tha have damaged devices.
