What causes the random reboots?

Could someone please explain the random reboots on my droid 2?

My phone is rooted, running liberty 1.5.

The only time my phone didn't seem to do the random reboots was when I was using "zeam" launcher.

some reboots i have found most all relate to a app conflict or launcher and handcent message app but there are a couple others like a battery that has got wet at one time does it , a loose battery in the phone use a small piece of paper to titan up the fit or check the contacts on the pins also a overclocked or high volt in the processor can do it

Froyo. Put gingerbread on it, no more reboots.

Get on liberty 2.0.1 for starters. Although I get the occasional reboot, but it's rare
