WARNING!!! Stay away from .894 update

There is a new .894 update that patches all root exploits that have been released. It seems as if the whole purpose of this update was for Motorola to test a patch these root exploits. The update doesn't seem to offer anything else new.

for the Bionic? I'm seeing 894 for the D3 but I haven't seen it officially for the Bionic yet... seeing lots of confusion on this and it would be nice to get some clarification

I haven't kept up with d3 stuff in a while so I don't know about D3 OTAs

this is for the Bionic though.

I just know when I've done some digging/research that all the Bionic updates that have been appearing the past few days ended up actually being 893... if you look up 894, there's a thread on rootzwiki talking about it for the D3, just overnight last night...

where did you read about 894 patching the exploits?
