War of the Balls: Verizon, T-Mobile & Sprint Ads Fight Over Colored Balls

Okay, so a silly advertising war is brewing between three of the major carriers in the US. First, Verizon created an animated video ad showcasing some red balls rolling down a lane at a faster rate than the other carriers' corresponding colored balls. Then T-Mobile counterattacked with their own video ad using the same CGI to illustrate a massive volume of balls rolling down the same tracks. Lastly, Sprint jumped into the fray with their own torrent of balls rolling down the hill faster than anyone else.

After watching all of them, we aren't really sure if we came away believing anything any of them had to say, but their advertising departments' probably had a ball making these cooky ads.

We'll leave it up to you guys to decide whether faster balls, bigger balls, or more balls is better. We just wonder if/when AT&T will get in on the act and show their balls.

You can marvel at and mock all three videos in the thread below.

Agree. The original VZW ad was a dumb visualization. T-mobile and Sprint just used the same visual to rebut the original ad. The sooner the rolling ball ads go away the better.

I'm getting sick of "the fastest 4GLTE network" being able to be thrown around by basically all the big 4...what..the fastest on this day at this time in this particular area?? I test drove Sprint last week..sucked...T-Mobile.. They've come a long way in a year.. Still..sucked..

At&t. More dead spots than I remember them having..and no service at my house..so..they're out..

So big red is all that's left unless I want to try cricket..barf..no thanx..

My point..the claim..best selling, or fastest, or any claim like that should be regulated. ..not just because a magazine did a speed test in a certain market ...hold these clowns accountable..

I was just laughing about these commercials this weekend. All these marketing companies are quick on the draw.

The only thing those commercials need now is Bon Scott singing in the background. You know the song..... [emoji3]

I haven't seen any of these except the Vzw one. My stepson (6yo) was having his breakfast bar on the couch this morning while I watched the news and ate my cereal. The Vzw one came on and he says, "I love this commercial."

Advertising works, folks.
