Voice Search to navigate to contact's address

I cannot get my Droid 2 to navigate to any of my contacts' addresses. When I say "Navigate to John Smith", it looks up John SMith on the web, when I want it to look in my contacts first. I was having trouble getting the text part to look into my contacts, and found through this forum that I needed to import all my contacts into Gmail, which I did (and that did solve my voice text issue).

Is there a way to get the navigate command to search your contacts first?
