tried editing voicemail *86 then added commas as suggested didn't work then even edited voicemail contacts did same still cant make it log into voicemail any other sugestions

Tried the commas before the voicemail password in my Droid X....it flat doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

FYI the commas are pauses. Placing them before *86 won't help. They're after the *86 to give the voicemail system a second or so to answer.

agknife said before voicemail password, not the dial number.

So for the Droid X, the sequence *86,,12345 does not work for me and several other DX owners.

Go to location an security an should be able to change the setting

Go to Settings, Call Settings, Voicemail Settings and, following the *86, add your pin after a couple Pause (,) entries. For example, *86,,1234
Now when you long press 1 on the dialer you won't have to enter your pin.
