Vlingo Safe Reader won't work since installing GO SMS Pro

Does anyone have an idea as to why Vlingo Safe Reader will not work on my Incredible 2 since installing GO SMS Pro.

The reason behind this us probably that safe reader reads from the stock messages app. Your gonna have to get rid of one or the other, so pick your favorite and delete the other one.

You may be right but I don't see a way of un-installing my stock messenger app. When going to; Settings; Applications; Manage Applications; and tapping on my stock messenger app there is no "Un-Install" button.

Can't remove unless your rooted.
