The image above comes from an earlier leak of the Verizon Nexus 6 logo shared by Phandroid.

For anyone who has been holding out for the Verizon Nexus 6 (or waiting for their contract to be up), we have a second rumor suggesting that the phone will launch on February 26th. The speculation suggests that its pricing could be around $249 with a two-year contract.

The Verizon version of the Nexus 6 will be identical to the versions found elsewhere, except it will include a CDMA-LTE radio compatible with Verizon's standards (and of course the Verizon logo and accompanying bloatware).

Nothing has been officially detailed by Verizon yet. Their website still lists the Nexus 6 as "coming soon." If true, that "soon" is only a couple weeks away.

The current Nexus 6 in the U.S. already has support for Verizon's CDMA and LTE networks, so there won't be any changes there.

There have been some rumors of other changes for the Verizon version - such as a bigger battery - but all of those are unsubstantiated (or point to a different upcoming Motorola device). The Nexus 6 on Verizon will likely be identical to the Nexus 6 that's already out except for branding and some software additions. No hardware changes will be necessary.

Can I just buy a Nexus 6 from any carrier and put my VZW sim in it?

You can indeed do that with the Nexus 6 when purchased from the Play Store, Motorola, T-Mobile, or Sprint. You'll just need a Verizon nanoSIM that's already active on your account. Verizon won't given you a nanoSIM specifically for the Nexus 6 since they don't officially support it at this time (although some people have been able to trick Verizon into giving them one). The versions from the Play Store, Motorola, and T-Mobile have no added bloatware. The Sprint model does have some minor Sprint additions to the ROM.

The AT&T branded Nexus 6 is SIM locked, so you'd need to unlock it before you can use it on Verizon. It also has some bloatware added in.
