Those who have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Verizon Motorola Xoom can breathe a sigh of relief. It's official release date was just announced from Verizon and it is indeed February 24th. Strangely, it is being released without support for Adobe Flash player for now, but they anticipate that to come in the "Spring".

Sadly, no 'official' word yet on the HTC Thunderbolt, but as we reported earlier it is very likely to arrive on the same date. We will keep you apprised.

No Flash!! All this time and it's just like when we had 2.1 on our phones. What's the deal with that? This will be a slight draw back for some people. For a Tablet that is supposed to be loaded to the gills it should be release with everything available.

I'm not surprised. Adobe can't get it's act together to support fully 64 bit computers which they have know about for years why would you expect it would run on relatively recent systems? My guess is that this is not Moto's fault at all.

This isn't the first time Adobe has delayed flash on a new product. Anyone remember back in Summer 2010 when they held off support for flash on the newer Droid phones (Droid X/2) and legacy support on Droid 1?? Yeah, same damn thing here. Here I am, plotting on trying to get this damn thing at a discounted price, and I am starting to think that I should just wait or look at the competition. Adobe is messing it up for the rest of us.

Really, no Flash? I was going to wait for the WiFi version anyway but this is crazy how they keep blind siding us with all this information. Come on Adobe get with the program!

Actually, now that I look closer at the banner where it says, "*Adobe Flash expected Spring 2011", it seems to be copy / paste on the article. Hmmmm.....

Disappointed it is not coming with Flash, but Droid-life may have a fix....Price is high, I know I should wait but what the hell. It's the price you pay to be the first. I'll keep the data just to see how it works out, but most likely will keep it tethered to my Droid.

Pretty stoked!!! Few more days!

Just curious though, why is BB advertising $100 off for 2yr plan and rumor saying VZ will be $200 off w/ 2yr plan? Don't they usually coincide?

They are saying 200 off for 2yr?!?!? Can you provide a link to this (if it doesn't violate DF rules)?? Thanks in advance.
