I received an email today from Verizon thats $100 off any Droid phone. Does anyone know if this is only for new customers or for those who are up for their two year upgrade?

Its says new 2-yr activation. So I take it that means only for new customers and not exsiting customers to renew their contract?

Im not sure if new two year activation means a new 2 year contract or entirely new customer...but then why would they waste time sending the email?

I'm sure they'd work something out with you if you were signing a 2 yr agreement, even if you're already a customer... but you'd have to be done with, or very near to the end of your current agreement.
