Rooted with EasyRoot awhile back. Had flashed back to my stock 2.2 rooted and then downloaded the new sapphire 1.1. During verification it said "E:failed to verify whole file signature, e: signature verification failed, installation aborted". I get this message with Sapphire 1.0 too even though it worked once before. UD same message. What am I doing wrong? I wiped it 3 times data/cache

update.zip - looks totally fine, gets 1/4 loaded and then it fails.

loaded rom manager, says doesnt have permission, superuser force closes. going back to easyroot now.

easyroot says im rooted. unrooted- rebooted- still says im rooted, superuser force closes. gunna play around with rom manager.

I know the issue now. Use link 3 in my sig to root and keep it

One click root apps are very unreliable

no recovery option.

reboot system
apply sdcard: update.zip
wipe data
wipe cache
wipe baseband

Yep that is stock recovery, So my guess is you rooted with easy root then accepted an OTA, right?

That was a bad idea.

If this is all true I think you NEED to find a PC or a way to run RSDLite on a Mac, can you emulate windows on your Mac?

I'm sorry fraud is not something discussed here. Also your superuser app would void your verizon warranty.

Who said anything about fraud? Whatever happened to Verizon's Worry free Guarantee? Even Oakley lets you return used glasses in exchange for new ones (if you ask nicely).

I understand but rooting your droid voided your verizon warranty. Do you have insurance?

Well my phone still works. Its acting like its not rooted, but all my apps have downloaded and my contact list is there so i guess i can still use it until i get my hands on a PC. Once i do, just follow that link you listed?
