username - who am i?

I haven't rooted my phone yet, so I was wondering what user/group am I running under? There is no /home or /system/home folder on the phone and no folder I can find named anything similar to my phone number or gmail username. Running a terminal doesn't provide much help either, ls -l doesn't show the usual info, and most other commands are locked out. Su, sudo, chown... even tar doesn't work!
