Uploading Pix to PC

I've been uploading directly from Droid X to PC via USB and into Picassa. All of a sudden today PC does not see the Droid and nothing shows in the Status Bar that indicates a connection.

Did your usb connection setting change to charge only on the Droid ?

1. Connect the phone to the PC via the USB cable.
2. Pull down the Android notification bar (tap the very top of the screen ans swipe down) and select USB Connection.
3. Select PC connect or something similar, then tap OK.

When I do that there is nothing that says USB connection....

+1 or bad port on PC?

Also, is the connection loose on the droid?

Have you powered it off and then powered it back on again(vague it crowd reference =) ) while it is connected?

Brand new Droid X and cord but of course anything is possible. It has worked okay for three weeks. anyway to check that?

Double checked connections. USB ports work with my GPS and Memory Sticks. Tried both USB connections. Also connected Droid to a Laptop and did not work there either.

Glad you got it fixed.

These devices are very picky when it comes to those cords and drivers on the PC side used to recognize them.
